Manufacturing Engineer III – Master of Complex Manufacturing & Process Innovation
📍 Hatboro, PA | Full-Time
Are you a creative, hands-on engineer with a passion for solving manufacturing puzzles others can't crack?
At KMM Group, Ltd., we engineer and manufacture mission-critical components for the medical and aerospace industries. We’re seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer with a deep understanding of CNC machining, process planning, and fixturing design to lead the charge on our most challenging projects. If you love bringing ideas to life in a high-precision, team-first environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
Develop and lead innovative process plans for complex multi-axis CNC projects, including components and assemblies (5-Axis Mill)
Program CNC machines using CAM software. MasterCAM Preferred
Design specialized tooling, functional gauging, special cutting tools, and custom fixturing
Serve as a customer-facing technical liaison and tolerance consultant (DFM/A)
Mentor and elevate Level 1 and 2 Engineers to enhance team capabilities
Drive continuous improvement and lights-out manufacturing strategies
Collaborate across Quality, Sales, and Production to solve critical challenges
What You Bring
10+ years of experience as a machinist, toolmaker, or designer
Strong background in CAD/CAM (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MasterCAM, etc.)
Fluent in programming 5 Axis Machinery (Pallet systems a plus)
Advanced understanding of GD&T, DFM/DFM-A, and precision process control
Expert in selecting tooling, feeds/speeds, and inspection methodologies
Strong communicator with proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Bonus Points For
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Passion for solving complex customer challenges through precision engineering
Experience supporting quality plans in regulated industries (ISO 13485 / AS9100)
Deep understanding of heat treatment, metallurgy, plating, and post-process operations
