🔧 What You’ll Do:

Primary Tactical Responsibilities

Make great parts, keep machines running, and take pride in your work.  You will run Swiss CNC machines to make small, high-precision parts for the medical device and aerospace industries.   This includes loading material, changing tools, and keeping the machines running smoothly throughout the shift. You will check parts using gauges and measuring tools to make sure everything is correct and meets the print. You will follow job instructions, blueprints, and setup sheets carefully. When small problems come up, you will fix what you can and ask for help when needed. You are also responsible for keeping your machine clean, safe, and running at its best.

·         Read job folders, prints, and setup sheets before starting

·         Run 2 or more Swiss machines at the same time

·         Change tools and offsets as needed

·         Check parts during the run (not just at the end)

·         Record production and inspection results

·         Troubleshoot issues (size, finish, tool wear, etc.)

·         Make small NC code edits when needed (if trained)

·         Do basic machine care (oil, chips, cleaning)

Primary Strategic Responsibilities:

·         Share ideas to make jobs faster and better (cycle time, tooling, setups)

·         Help move toward “lights out” machining (machines running with less help)

·         Support a positive team culture

·         Help train new operators when needed

Job requirements

âś… What You Bring:

·      5+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience preferred

·      High school diploma (or similar)

·      Trade school or apprenticeship is a plus

·      Must understand basic CNC / NC code

·      Experience with machines like Citizen, Star, Tsugami, DMG Mori, or Traub is a plus
